The other day I was discussing organ donation with my grandmother. She had no idea that you can be any age to donate! You're never too old! (Or too young!) There is always going to be someone out there that can benefit from organ and tissue donation no matter how old the person is. Even if you can't donate everything, there are still organs and tissue that you may be able to donate. It's so important to get that out there, because people have these beliefs that need to be corrected. Organ donation SAVES LIVES.
My plan is to help people in the area understand organ and tissue donation. The current percentage of people registered in this area (Belleville) is 23%. I hope to increase that to 25% by the new year. Let's see if I can!
